About TFTIQ

What this is

TFTIQ tracks the Teamfight Tactics meta with one rule: rankings have to be useful at the moment you are rolling, not interesting in a spreadsheet. Every comp page answers three questions — what to build, what to slam, and when to roll.

How the tiers are made

Tier placements come from a mix of match data and coaching review. Data finds the strong lines; the review pass removes lines that only win in lobbies nobody plays in. A comp moves tiers when both agree.

How item and augment tiers are made

Item tiers combine pick rate with placement against the champion's own average, so a strong item on a weak champion does not top the list. Augment tiers weigh how often a pick fits the comps in the current sample instead of win rate alone.

Where the data comes from

Champions, traits, items, augments and icons come from Riot's public game data, published through Data Dragon. Match statistics are aggregated from publicly available TFT match data and reviewed by our editors. TFTIQ does not call the Riot API in production yet; we plan to move match ingestion there, and this page will say so once that ships.

What is ours

Tier placements, comp write-ups, economy notes and Coach answers are TFTIQ's own analysis. They are opinions built on data, not guarantees of results, and they are not endorsed by Riot Games.

How fresh it is

Rankings are refreshed when a new patch or match-data snapshot lands; the patch bar on every page shows the date of the data you are reading. Static game data follows the live patch.

What Coach AI is for

Coach AI is built for pre-game preparation and post-game review: comps, items, augments, economy and mechanics. It does not give live in-game instructions, run as an overlay, or track opponents during a match.
